On the fifth of October 2004, it was announced Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, it will be the third building on an artificial island reclaimed land, away from the coast beach Deira in Dubai. Palm Deira will be the largest of the three islands and will cover 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) in length and 8.5 kilometers (5.3 mi) wide. Will consist of a residential area, marinas, shopping centers, Braat sports and clubs. Residential area will be located on 41 fronds and will contain 8,000 Villas / two-storey houses built in three distinct designs: a major Villas, Villas great houses and city vista.
